BNV এক জন ব্বিাহিত ভাব্বাদীর মৃত্যু হলে তার স্ত্রী এসে ইলীশায়ের কাছে কেঁদে পড়লো, “আমার স্বামী অনুগত ভৃত্যের মতো আপনার সেবা করেছেন| কিন্তু এখন তিনি মৃত! আপনি জানেন আমার স্বামী প্রভুকে সম্মান করেন কিন্তু তিনি এক জন পুরুষের কাছে টাকা ধার করেছিলেন| এখন সেই মহাজন এীতদাস বানানোর জন্য আমার দুই পুত্রকে নিতে আসছে|”
KJV Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
YLT And a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets hath cried unto Elisha, saying, `Thy servant, my husband, is dead, and thou hast known that thy servant was fearing Jehovah, and the lender hath come to take my two children to him for servants.`
RV Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead: and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two children to be bondmen.
RSV Now the wife of one of the sons of the prophets cried to Elisha, "Your servant my husband is dead; and you know that your servant feared the LORD, but the creditor has come to take my two children to be his slaves."

ERVEN A man from the group of prophets had a wife. This man died, and his wife cried out to Elisha, "My husband was like a servant to you. Now he is dead! You know he honored the Lord. But he owed money to a man. Now that man is coming to take my two boys and make them his slaves!"
